Regional Vitality Initiative Upcoming ‘Join the Conversation’ gatherings

6 Regional Meetings Set for Regional Vitality – Discussion in Northwest Missouri

The Community Foundation of Northwest Missouri is hosting 6 regional gatherings to present data and information collected about our region.  This will include highlighting regional assets and opportunities. Break out discussions will be around the regional topics of: Business, Entrepreneurship, Work Force Development, Quality of Life, and Education. All Northwest Missouri residents are invited to participate.

The Regional Vitality initiative is intended to support the Northwest Missouri citizens and leaders in creating sustainable systems supporting regional collaboration that drives regional prosperity and in turn philanthropy. The Foundation believes our region can best maximize its potential when our communities strategically plan and work together on developing economic systems that benefit all, but may be too difficult for anyone community to achieve.

The Regional Vitality Network is designed to guide dialogue throughout the region around the topics of workforce, business development, entrepreneurship, educational attainment and quality of life. Focus of the dialogue is on the region’s potential to create and maintain sustainable quality jobs, businesses, entrepreneurs and non-profit organizations. Thriving regions provide conditions that allow companies and other entities to compete successfully in national and international markets while also paying wages that support a higher standard of living for its citizens.
